TEPA Financial Overview

TEPA Fees are collected each year from families of students for school events and activities, while fundraising and donations contribute to the TEPA Scholarship Fund. Together they comprise TEPA’s Finances.

TEPA Fees provide the basic funding for events and activities sponsored by TEPA. These Fees are a suggested donation paid by parents of students who attend The École. The Fees give parent volunteers a budget to enhance the school community and enrich students’ education. Projects and events are created by TEPA volunteers and are funded by the TEPA Fees.

TEPA Scholarship Fund is separate from the TEPA Fees. Fundraisers, such as the Silent Auction, the Penny Drive, and other donations contribute to the TEPA Scholarship Fund for the following school year. The TEPA Scholarship Fund exists to assist qualifying families with after-school programming, lunch, uniforms, and/or other activities that require a financial contribution. We strive to promote socioeconomic diversity and support families with the high cost of living in NYC.

All donations, including TEPA Fees, are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
